Build a healthier desk setup
Your environment shapes your posture all day. Get the basics right first.
- Top of screen at eye level
- Elbows at 90 degrees, wrists neutral
- Lumbar support in the small of your back
- Feet flat on the floor or on a footrest
Daily habits that matter
Movement throughout the day beats one perfect posture.
- Stand and move every 30 to 45 minutes
- Walk for part of your lunch break
- Take phone calls standing or walking when you can
- Two short mobility breaks a day, even one minute each
Strengthen what holds you up
Posture is supported by your deep core, glutes and upper back. A short strength routine twice a week protects your spine far more than reminders to sit up straight.
